"The City Of Waterfalls"

The Niagara Escarpment, on its journey from New York State to the northwest of Chicago, passes through Ontario providing Hamilton with the ideal geological conditions for waterfalls to occur. Having over 60 waterfalls identified within its boundaries Hamilton is often referred to as The City Of Waterfalls. There are several trails and walks along the Niagara Escarpment which provide access to some of the most spectacular cascades you're likely to see anywhere, as well as breathtaking views across the bays which line the escarpment.

For more information and details of some of the hikes take a look at Bruce Trail and for more information on the most popular waterfalls themselves head over to Hamilton Conservation Academy.
